Hey,
I need to change the sand for my guys tank but I can't find the brand I was using before (I don't really remember which brand it was either). What do you think is the best type of substrate for him? I heard the finer sands weren't so good.

I personally like aspen, (the finer grade) myself. I've also used playsand (the kind you buy for children's sand boxes).

I would not use sand of any kind!! I have had good luck with aspen and crushed walnut shells.
