Hi guys

is anyone having the same or have had this problem, and how the hell did you stop it.

iv kept tons of kings over the years but this is a first for me.
a leonis that im growing on just wont take any foods if im not holding it, its that bad that if any part of the little mite touch's the floor befor its finished its meal it will regurge.there is no probs with what it will eat which is anything meaty, its just that i want to break the habit but the Thayer's dosnt... aaaaarrrrggggggg...... Got any idea's lads.

I've found it best, however, to be very quiet on public forums if one prefers li** food. The devotees are still largely hiding in the basement, but our animals LOVE us for it.

Nah, live is good for babes, fresh whacked for older. with the occasional wiggler for practice!

A bit more info...

There is no problem at all with what she will eat which is anything.. Pinks - live - dead - lizard - worms - tails, she will eat but only in my hand. she is 6 months now and i just dont want another 6 months of hand feeding..

When she is feeding in my hand , if her body touch's the floor she will start to defend and vibrate her tail then regurge or drop whatever is in her jaws. i have to keep hold of her until the meal is all the way down....

Any thoughts..

everyone knows snakes absolutly hate to eat in their keepers hand.

Yer right.. i tryed sitting on the couch and gave her a talking to but she still wont comply....lol
