Question?

I was handling my Peruvian Red-tail Boa and I noticed when she slithers across my hand and tightens up, I can feel her scales/bones cracking...is that normal?

I may have heard that uncomfortable noise before when I handled a "full" animal...which is not advised.

I have also heard this from one salmon female I have. She is difficult at times and likes to tighten up and squeeze me as hard as she can. She's only 18 months old. Can't wait till she's grown. lol.
