incubation temps

can you manipulate the sex of the hatchlings by the temperature that you incubate them?

No you can not.

In Philippe de Vosjoli's Ball Python book there is a picture of a really shattered pattern Ball, (I do not have the book with me to give the exact page ect..) and the sub-title says the temperatures during incubation were fluctuated to produce the pattern?
