I just put my beardie into his new cage last night. When I put him in I put him right up in the basking spot. He found his way down last night and was sleeping under his hide. I moved his hide this morning to check where he was. Since i've moved his hide, he's been sitting in the same spot. I was going to let him find his way up on his own, but i'm not sure now if maybe I should move him to the basking spot. If he hasn't found it after giving him a few hours each morning, should I continue to put him there?
Also, he's in a much more bright and higher traffic area. He used to be in a reptarium in my bed room. His new cage only has one open side, but it's a lot louder and much more activity out there. I was thinking maybe I should cover the front up for a while until he's found his way around, and then slowly uncover it. I would like for him to be able to be seen. So, should I cover it up?
