Big Male Sorong

vegasbilly Oct 05, 2005 10:37 PM

Here's a pic of my big ol' male Sorong. He's a monster at just about 5.5'. He is so tame its almost weird. He's being cycled w/the high yellow female ARU shown below. Could be a killer clutch!

What a great pair they'll make! I have a Sarong type too, and she's also tame as a kitten. Voracious eater for all that, but you can do anything with her.

How sure of you, that your high yellow male is an "Aru".

It looks 100% Biak type to me.

I had the same thoughts about that aru-type as well...thing just screams biak.

The sorong is a beast though! Great animals.

My bad, I was thinking Biak and typing Aru! Can't pull anything over on you people!! lol! Thanks for the nice comments. Can anyone tell me why its a "bad" idea to cycle Chondros together?

Bill

Well, you want to continue to cycle together.

It will increase your copulation chances if you cycle apart for a month or 2 the indrouce the pair, then continue cycling until ovulation (yada yada yada)

It's not a bad thing, as its been attemted numerious times. But you best chance for success - Cycle apart then introduce.

Good luck with the pair.
