Tank size for an adult female?

hotridexx Jul 20, 2003 02:26 PM

Hi everyone,

I have a female ball and she is about one years old, and I have her in a 40 gallon breader (36Lx18Wx16H). She is currently about 30-36 inches long. Would this 40 gallon breader be able to accommodate her all of her life?

Thanks everyone.

Yes, that is plenty of room for her. It's good for temperature gradient, too. I have my baby in a 29 gallon and I can get the temp. gradient right this way. She/he is very alert, from what I've noticed it readily flicks its tounge, in and out of the cage and because she isn't use to handling, would either crawl away or curl up very quickly when I approach too suddenly. I'm in the process of getting her use to be handled. Anyway, good luck and have fun!!!
