they said in august of 2004 helga was on baytril and flagyl together for her feet. however after looking up the description of flagyl, it seems like it is more for bacteria in the stomach or something. i did read one description where it could help with joints. anyway by that point, helga was past all her parasites and the only problem i had left were her feet, so it had to have been prescribed for the feet. i hope that helps, how is millie?

Well that's interesting. I've never heard of Flagyl being used that way. However, it's about time to give everybody another round of Flagyl anyway, so I'll give her some this weekend. Thanks for checking on that for me.

I just examined Millie, and I see that one foot looks better and the other looks about the same. I'll take whatever I can get as long as it's not a step backwards. Plus, she obviously feels okay since I had to chase her around the cage to look at her feet

i know, i thought it was strange too, but over all it is an antibiotic, it said it kills bacteria. but when she said helga had been on baytril and flagyl together, i thought about it being for parasites but i know she didn't have any at that point
glad to hear she is going better!
