whats the determination? Ive read all the latest but there seemms to be disagreement on these still. They supposedly have the same scale counts, anyone care to enlighten me on this topic? I have a pair of longis that were part of an estate sale, they are nice - heres a pic of the male.

Vin Russo has pictures on his website of B.c.ortoni.
I do not think there are any verifiable ortoni in U.S. culture, but I am aware of two breeders in Germany who had once worked with them.

yes I think I may have seen one or both of their websites. They certainly dont look anything alike, though there is a hybrid pic that I have seen which looks more longi than not.
