These are Popcorn's last 3 kids

lzrdldy530 Oct 06, 2005 01:44 PM

These are the last of Popcorn's who retired after suffering 2 prolapsed hemipenes in 2 consecutive Decembers. Bling, 4/22/05, Squeak, 4/16/05, and Squeaker, 6/28/05. Squeak was the one who I found in the incubator with all 4 feet braced against the lid of the deli cup and gaping!! He always has and continues to SQUEAK when handled, as does his younger sibling.

squeak looks like it's got a very short nose.

You're right! When he hatched I called him "Pea-head" because its head was round like a little pea. Then he got very squeaky so I re-named him. Squeaker (subsequent clutch, same parents) ALSO had a little round pea-head! Their heads are more wedge-shaped now, but still rounder than Bling's.
