its been almost month since roy hurt his leg.i have been dusting the crickets and have a calcium bowl in the cage with him.he never ghoes near the calcium bowl.he istn very active.i gess cuz his leg hurts too much.now he kind "rolls" on it.i would take him to a vet but what could they do for him?any help?any tips?

Sadly I am all to familiar with MBD. My first hatched was the unlucky one to get it. With liquid calcium it took about 6 weeks before he was up and about. His leg never straightened out but he can get around fine. He was able to breed still and is doing great. He just isn't as quick anymore.

if you take it to the vet he can perscribe you with something to help him.

How about you take it to the vet and let them tell you what they can do for you instead of waiting another month.

The veterinarian can give injectable calcium or dose out a liquid oral calcium for you.
They can also take xrays to determine bone density, and do blood work to check calcium levels, and to see if anything else is going on.
A vet really needs to be seen
