Hey, no problem. Don't worry, I have a little list as well, and I'm sure it will be a while before I can acquire some of the more expensive morphsI love the plain 'ol green ones as well though!

Take care,
Kevin

yea,i wondered why floyd was paired with a very normal looking chondro and not a more exotic/designer looking snake.the answer i got was that damien wanted to start off the albino project slowly and bla bla bla..im not sure if im buying that idea.could the real answer be that he doesnt own any calico or other serious designer looking snakes to pair him with and if he did breeding loans hed have to share the albino gene?im not saying that this is the case but there are so many exciting snakes to pair him with but non have been suggested.correct me if im wrong but doesnt he only breed locale types and he doesnt own any breedable designer females?at least nothing spectacular.anyway, just a theory and i dont know enough about him or his collection to really know anything.really all i know about him is the photos of his collection on his site.hey, has anyone looked closly at the photos of floyd??? i dont know if its a light trick or what but i could swear in at least one picture i can see some blue!!...someone please tell me if they see it as well.hey, another great chondro morph would be a leucistic.i read once that they are more common that albinos and the chances of one popping up are better than an albino.kinda strange that we have see at least 2 seperate albino clutches but no leucs yet.cant wait for that.i personally like them better and the black eyes combined with the snowwhite skin would look amazing.,

Damon does indeed have some killers stuff aside from his albino project. He's a good guy and a friend of mine (so im going to back this up) he's good on his word and dosent try to decieve anyone. He has a good point about not saturating the market. I asked myself the same question then asked Damon, he gave me a straight up answer that he posted on chondroweb not to long ago. Belive what he says. Agian he's a man of his word, people just like to do things differntly and i see Damons Point.

Regarding the albinos, there are infact 2 albinos out there. Trooper Walsh owns the other as well as that breedable het pair and all of it's poss het siblings. There are also some european het albinos (differnt strains) in the UK. So there is no reason why Damon would want all the marbles. Cathy Maynard ("Jungle Dancer" on this forum) will most likely be the next person produce an albino as she has a decent (now proven) het collection that is getting very close to breeding size. She as well as Trooper (though i think now cathy has more "wild looking" chondros that trooper) have a good "designer" collection. So expect some crazy stuff in the next 10 years.

If you're wondering about a lucistic. You might want check out Greg Scheroders "Snow Cown" Its a 95% non hormonal White chondro female thats up for breeding this season.

It's a good time to be alive if you're a chondro person!

yea like i said it was just a theory.i dont know the guy or know his collection.since you know him and his collection personally i have to take your word for it,but i really just couldnt help but wonder maybe there was another reason why he would have decided to breed floyd to such a normal looking female.now you mention that there are other albinos and hets.yes there are,but none are even close to breeding age, well some hets but no true albinos other than floyd.so that would allow him to corner the market at least for a little while.with that in mind, and the decision to only pair him with his own(short of spectacular)females,i just couldnt help but wonder if maybe that was at least part of the reason for the decision.even if it was, theres nothing wrong with that.its his snake and if it wermineid do the same thing.the first breedable albino is a very valuable snake and i wouldnt go around sharing the gene with anyone.again,im not saying thats what hes doing but i am saying thats exactly what id do.lol.you could call me greedy, but its just good business.and as far as the white chondro,i love looking at pictures of her.as white as she is,she is still a far cry from a true leucistic.i think that if its true that leucs are a lot more common than albinos,we should be seeing a snow white chondro any day.thats one of the reasons its so exciting to be a chondro breeder right now.its one of the few snakes in the pet trade where we still havnt seen many of the expected morphs.its like years ago when leopard geckos began getting popular.its hard to believe but there was once a time when only "normal colored"leos were available and bred.now,LOL..i dont think i could list all the morphs here without running out of space.i envy people like damain and julian, who are currently breeding and the exciteent of not knowing what to expect.how the hatching of just one extaordinary egg, could change the entire direction of chondro breeding.considering all the so called"normal"color varients, its hard to imagine what we will see if we combine them with the freak morphs.I LOVE IT!!!..i want so much to be activly breeding during these exciting times but i have not yet had such luck.as long as im able to hatch a single clutch while there is an unseen morph out there ill be happy.im keeping my fingers crossed for my leucistic.
