my sudanese uro seems to become nucoturnal. for the past..going on 3 weeks now, hes only coming out after dark, around 10 p.m.-ish. hes doesnt show any signs of being sick, hes still growing and gaining whiaght. has any one else ever incounterd a perfictly healthy uro turning nocturnal? nothing at all has changed..heating, temps, nothing. only the time of the day. it went from 8 hours to 7 hours. thats all that has changed.

I am not going to be much help but wanted to say that I have a 1 1/2 year old saharan that has just started doing that. She did not get up until 10 p.m. after the lights were out. Her tank mates get up on a regular "daily" schedule. So I will also be interested to see what people have to say.

i have and breed malis, and they do normal uro stuff. but my one sudanese...hes just wierd, and i really wanna kno whats going on.

Is she housed with others? Maybe she gets picked on during the day? Other than that I don't have many ideas. My uros have gone through phases where they were up after dark quite a while, or would only come out to eat after dark (when they were new), but in general they have maintained sun worshipper status.
