jmnavarro Oct 07, 2005 12:24 AM

Hello,

This is my first posting.
I'm facinated by Chucks and I was wondering if any of you could share a picture of the other two island Chuckwallas??
I have a San Esteban Chuck, and I have seen wild S. Hispidus, but never an S. Slevini or S. Klauberi.
Thanks. JN

Both are pretty drab lizards. To me a kluaberi looks like a little hispidus and the slevini looks like an female brown ater with black reticulations. Pick up Brad Hollingsworth's thesis that has some pics. Tom

Thanks for the info.
I will look up Brad Hollingsworth's research.
Google had zero information on these species.
Thanks, JN
