Looks like the picture didn't come out - how do I attach it from my desktop to this site? I placed the URL in the 'Image URL' but that didn't seem to work.

You need to save the picture in your gallery under this site. Go to photo gallery and then make a folder and upload ur pictures into it, then you can put them on here
The picture needs to be online before we can see it. You can put pictures online through kingsnake.com's gallery system, or through one of the various other free photo gallery web sites. If you want, you can also just email it to me (paalexan@nmsu.edu) and I can put it online.

Hopefully this time the image attaches. If anyone knows this snake, I'd love to hear. Again, I was driving through the country of Malawi (Eastern Africa) when I came across this guy in the middle of the road. I think a car ran over his neck right before we drove up, but he was still very alive.

Looks like a boomslang (Dispholidus typus), a dangerously venomous colubrid.
