Patternless Northern Pine.......

Coach Oct 07, 2005 07:02 AM

I don't frequent this forum but I've been around the other forums for a long time. I came across a patternless northern pinesnake the other day in the barrens that I thought might interest some of you. I know patternless southern pines are common at the shows so I didn't think the find was all that special until I checked the archives here. Anyway, the morph does occur in northerns too as I found out first hand in the field. Sorry guys, no pics since it was an unexpected stop.

I did see someone selling some patternless northerns this year. Patternless is known in several pits so I don't see why it wouldn't show up in Northerns. That is certainly a rare find in the wild, too bad you didn't get a shot of it!
