I gave him a warm water soak this morning as recomended by the vet, to try to help him pass feces. Instead it sent him into another nervous seizure thing. He still walks sideways (in circles sometimes) and has a slight head tilt to the left. Sometimes he looks better and others he looks worse. Thanks for the support.

i called Lindsay Pike and he said the same thing you all have been saying. The tremors can be caused by a calcium deficiency, but he hasn't seen Zazu and doesn't want to go over what the vet said. So he isn't sure. I'm hopeless. I'm just going to try to give him the best nursing care i can. He doesn't seem to want to be put down.

Zazu died this morning. Thank you all for your concern and support. Rest in peace little buddy.

oh, i am so sorry. i was really rooting for you all. it is so sad when our scaly friends go away i hope you are doing ok. it is really hard and alot of people don't understand, but we are all here and we understand

I am so sorry for your loss. You did the best you could do for him. He is at peace now running with all of our other lost uros. Take care.

I am so sorry for your loss of little Zazu I agree with the others though, you did everything you could, you even spent your food money! Zazu knew how much you loved him, and you gave him every possible opportunity. Just try to take a little comfort that 1) we know what you are going through and 2)Zazu is up playing with "Uncle Archie" and all his other wonderful Uro friends, smiling down on us. (Because we KNOW Uros do, in fact, have a sense of humour ).

What a sad thing to hear, I know how bummed you must be, it is a sad thing.
