Anyone working with hybrids

What's possible? What's the market? Are they fertile? Got any pics? Are they AI'd or will they breed naturally? I'm kind of torn on the morals of it, half of me thinks it's wrong to even consider but the other half thinks you could come up with some really cool combinations, especially with some of the ball morphs. I know it could potentially be a controversial subject so if you want to pm me instead of posting here it's heartmountainherps@bresnan.net

There's an awesome BP Hybrid called SuperBalls. They were first produced in '02 by Roussis Reptiles.

Quoted directly from Roussis site:
"It is very interesting and intriguing to watch these animal's behavior. The Superballs have great personalities and are completely docile. While most SuperBalls tend to burrow just beneath the mulch surface like Blood Pythons, some will "ball up" similar to Ball Pythons. Super Balls share common characteristics of both Blood Pythons and Ball Pythons. Having less humidity requirements than a Blood Python, having superior appetites unlike many Ball Pythons, and having an accelerated growth and sexual maturity rate, these truly are Super Balls! Super Balls are completely fertile, capable of reproducing with either parent species or each other. These hybrids exhibit "hybrid vigor,"
with each Super Ball inheriting the superior qualities of each parent species, and grow faster than either a Ball or Blood! The Superballs have reached sexual maturity at eighteen months of age for both males and females."
Hope This helps- Deb

So far as I know there have only been two types of crosses done with ball pythons, first the Superball(check out Roussis Reptiles website) which is a Blood X Ball cross, and secondly the Angolan X Ball cross (check out www.newenglandreptile.com for pics)

Also if you are interested in hybrid issues the Hybrid forum on Kingsnake is a good place for these types of questions.

Wow, Steve's site is awsome and that super ball is the bomb. If anyone else has any input that would be great also.
