My Beardy eggs are Hatching!!!!!! =)

Turtlegirl Jul 20, 2003 04:32 PM

YES!!

This morning before Church, I opened the incubator, and one of the dented eggs had a tiny Beardy head sticking out of it!

Now the tiny, spunky little baby Beardy is completely out of the egg, and in a temporary setup waiting on it's brothers and sisters to hatch!
I've never seen a Beardy this tiny... it's sooooooooooo CUTE!!
I'm totally beyond excitement, this is like Christmas!!
I'll keep ya'll posted!

Please post pics if you can! I've never bred any reptiles, just mice and dogs...lol. Maybe I'll get started on a breeding project. But congrats again and good luck. Michael

All that waiting paid off huh? Are they all gray out of the incubator or do they have some color? That's really cool. I still have to wait a year for my female beardies to hit sexual maturity...

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

Nothing's going to change the world.

Is this what you call tact?
I swear you're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back.

It's times like these where silence means everything.

Everyone's caught onto everything you do.

ya, lol the waiting was so darn hard!

But I'm sooooo glad they're hatching now!

Some are dark gray, but most are a light tan color.
They look like normal beardies, but their dad does have some color, so it'll be interesting to see em after they shed
they're sooooooooooo cute!
