Transporting a RES

Is there a proper way to transport an RES to the vet? It will only be a 10 minute trip, but I'm concerned about the wait. Thanks!

Use an appropriately sized rubber maid container with damp sponge rubber matting in the bottom to give him something to grip on. I've used this method for years with no problems.
