i was reading the caresheet on this site, it says a 10 gal. aquarium is adequate size to house a full size African House Snake??
This doesnt seem right for when females grow sometimes bigger than 4ft.
i'm just wodering whaat size cage will work

Since I wrote that statement, I guess I should be the one to clarify.
Most african housesnakes are fine in a 10 gallon. The largest females (4-5 footers) probably need a larger cage. Remember that these are slender snakes, so a 5 foot house snake is smaller in girth than a 3 foot cornsnake.

so if i were to get a 2o gallon long or 29 high, it would work for the bigger females?
would you expect a snake show to have these snakes, because i've really never seen one in person (the all- maryland reptile show)

I usually see one or two cb babies for sale at most expos. You have to ask around to see if anyone has any.
