how big is "giant"

djseibert68 Oct 08, 2005 04:12 AM

my male seems to be pretty big, under 18 months and 70 grams... could he be giant? and since most females i see are smaller, what would be a good size female to breed with?

Is currently @ 130-140 grams. He is am absolute stud. A,most worried he will harm my females when i put him in for breeding purposes.

Sounds like your Leo is normal size. My male is about 2 yrs old & weighs 72 grams. According to Ron Tremper's information;
A Giant male will be 80-110 grams and a female 60-90 grams by 1-year old. Super Giant males are over 110 grams and females over 90 grams by 1-year old.
