My first breeding of the year

Amelcorn Oct 08, 2005 12:58 PM

This is my pastel breeding my 100% het albino female. I also had her in with my 100% albino male, but thought I'd see what happens. The pastel is only about 500 grams. Hopefully 1 of them has what is takes.lol

Huuum! what will you sell the normal siblings as? considering they could be normal pastel siblings!

Amelcorn Oct 08, 2005 02:24 PM

Well, if I get any, I will probably sell them as 50% het albinos, the best any of them could be would be 66%. At least that is what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. If any pastels come out, I'm going to assume that they are just normal siblings 50% het for albino. And if any albinos come out, well They could still be just normals maybe 66% het maybe only 50% het, cause all albino babies stay here. Is that the correct answers?

about your het percentages. As far as throwing in the pastel, hmmmm, I would have left the het male in. Guess it's just a matter of preferance, and perhaps the male het didn't "get er done"

Since both mom and the other possible dad are het albino the normals regardless are poss het albino, but since she couldn't know for sure they would only be 50% poss.
