Help with regurge

herper79 Oct 08, 2005 02:51 PM

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any helpfull input for me. I had bought a pair of '05 easterns and the female died after having her about a month and a half (she ate one tuna scented pink after I got her). The male's first meal was a tuna scented pinkie about 3 weeks after I got him.(unscented pinks were not working). I then purchased a green tree frog for scenting, and he took the frog scented pink right away. Unfortunately, he regurged the pink 2 days later. I gave him a week and fed another frog scented pink. He regurged that one 1 day later. I do not want to lose this little guy and I was hoping for some ideas of what I am doing wrong. The 20 gal tank has a under tank heater, a day lamp and a night lamp. The warm end is about 95 and the cool end is about 80 during the day. at night the warm end is about 75-80 and the cool end is about 70. The tank has moist bark on the cool half and crushed rock on the warm half. The eastern is sharing the tank with a pair of '05 and '04 westerns who are doing great and eat every week to 2 weeks.
Thanks for reading,
Nick

That might be the problem... he's likely stressed out by the other snakes in the enclosure with him. Move him to his own enclosure, wait a week or so to settle in and then try feeding again.

Thanks, I'll try that.
