I noticed they have canned food and dry food (pellets). Do you feed either or both? A breeder I am very interested in feeds Zoo Med foods but I'm still waiting on her reply to my email so I'd thought I'd just post it here. And, exactly how MUCH do you feed? Sorry, I'm still learning
Depends on what kind of canned food you are referring to. If you are talking about the "Can O'" products, then yes I use them. I have had great feeding responses with the crickets, grasshoppers, worms, and pillars. Didn't eat the snails though (which makes sense, cause U don't see a lot of snails in the desert). I mainly use the crickets, ( along with veggies ) but give hoppers, pillars, or worms for variety occasionally. I also still feed live crickets every once in a while, just so dragons have to run after them. Don't want fat and lazy dragons. I have tried the dry foods, but didn't have very good luck.
I use the can-o-crickets for Sid (he's only like 3-4 inches) sometimes when the pet store is out of live crickets. As long as I wiggle them around with the tweezers before dropping 'em, he eats them up. Some of them are too big though, even though the can says the crickets inside were only a couple of weeks old.
