Try shooting it without a flash in good indirect soft lighting. Your pics with flash are getting washed out. You have to much light.

This should help you get a great picture of a beautiful animal.

Give it a whirl and repost the next photo shoot for a comparison. They should be killer looking shots.

The picture below was shot without a flash just as I described above.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been playing around with the digi cam for a while and I can get some awesome pics if I set up and have alot of time but these were just quick spur of the moment pics. The first 2 are outdoors without flash, and the others are indoors with flash. If you see the area on his neck that looks washed out in both pics, that is actually the way it looks in person. It is not getting washed out by flash or lighting. Thanks again.

Awesome boy! I love the blushing, how old is he? I love high blushing in pastels which is why I got my sub-adult Grazini. (see photo) but your lemon's colour is fantastic! Very Nice!
