First is my male, then a closeup of the female's side and then their litter from a couple years ago. Dums are great snakes!

here is a 8 ft female

After I posted my message on here I went to take a quick look at a new reptile shop that opened up by me. He had one Dumeril boa left, when I was checking him out it looked a little like he had some substrate stuck in the cloca (I don't think I spelled that right) anyway, I brought it to the owners attention and when he rubbed it out it started to bleed. Could it have been a scab or did he just irritate it that much to make it bleed? What could it have been caused from? He had the snake housed in a 40 gallon glass tank with screen top and some kind of bark for substrate which he mists onces in a while. I'm still learning about dumerils but my bolivian boa has never had anything like that happen to him. Anyway, what do you think?
