I am planning on breeding an Anery to a het albino and an anery to a het hypo. Can any tell me what I might expect? Any snows or ghost? Or will I have breed the offspring that are double hets together to get snows and ghosts?

Anery X het-albino = Het-Anery 50% Het-Albino
Anery X Het-Hypo = Het-Anery 50% Het-Hypo

Your pairing might produce Double-Hets but you will have to raise them and test breed to know if they are in fact DH's.

You should hold back the females and get yourself a 100% DH male to test breed. 1 out of 2 females should be a DH.

You then should produce Snow & Ghost...

Good Luck

As I understand you! I have a Anery Fem possible het for albino and if I breed her to a male albino then the babies will be 100% DH? I also have a hypo fem and plan to breed her to a male anery possible het for albino. So what will I get when I breed the pair of anery that are 66% possible het albino??? Sometimes all of this is so confusing but little by little I think I am getting it.

Thanks
Tom

Hi,
When you breed a pair of anerys. poss.het/albino you will get all anerys poss. het/albinos, BUT if they are both het for albino, then you will get anerys, albinos het/anery, and you could produce a snow from that pairing too. The best way to find out if they are het/albino would be to test breed them x an albino. Good luck,
Jeff Teel
