Water Temp

I know condas spend a lot of time in the water. My question is how one do you keep it heated. Do you use a fish heater or place it over the mat heater? Second question is what is a good temp for it to be. Maybe looking to start setting up a cage for a Male Green.

If you are going to use a pool, ideally you would want it at about 80 degrees F plus or minus a couple of degrees.
