Mealworms dying

shihao Jul 20, 2003 06:39 PM

Hi,

I just came back from the ny show and got a pair of geckos. One of them already ate 2 mealworms in his container on the ride home. Anyway back to the problem. (Thanks LI Reptiles)

The mealworms I got from the show were lively now most seem dead or inactive. How do I need to keep mealworms to avoid them dying on me? (maybe something else is wrong - they are lethargic)

I read that it should be room temp and not to leave moisture foods in too long to avoid spoilage.

Does anyone sell mealworm breeding kits? I'm not interested in crickets just yet.

Thanks,

Tom T.
