Fun times in New York!

Well you would think that when you you buy a soda and sandwich you would have a table to sit and eat your food. Nope I had to sit on the floor. Like I was camping or something like that. Then we left around 1 - 1:30 and took us 45 minutes just to get out of parking lot. I will not talk about traffic because it is no fault of the show. The best part of the show was meeting Nigel and Gail Thorpe. Their animals looked well cared for and that female spider was so plump. Almost took credit card out. But being retired and on a fixed income I just knew better. Maybe we an hook up sometime.
I looked at some ball pythons on some other venders table and fell sorry for the animals. I do not think they even had their first meal. SAD
So I took a picture of my highlight of the show Gail and Nigel. The owner's of the Paragon ball. Not a bad picture for only taking one of them! Perhaps gail could smile next time.

Hi...Nigel & I enjoyed meeting you and your husband also. Chuck is back home safe and sound. Really nice meeting you both and it would be nice to see you again if you go to the show in Sept. and hopefully we will have some new animals for you to hold.

Oh, we'd love to! Where is the September show? I've been told I can't make any more "live" purchases until we purchase a house. Heehehehe...Do you have a store in Mass? We like to drive on the weekends, and a reptile place is a great destinantion. Either way, I'll send you an email. It really was a pleasure meeting you both, and I think my boys are the same age as the young man with you at White Plains....

The next show is Sunday Sept.7,2003 from 10-4 upper level. We will be in the same spot and that little guy with us was our son. He is actually a great helper at the shows and we love having him with us, even though sometimes it can get a bit boring for him. Hopefully you will buy a house soon so you can start adding on to your animal collection although it sounds to me like you have your hands full already, I could tell you love animals. Reptiles are addictive, if you love one type it's pretty much a sure thing you are going to enjoy all the other wonderful creatures there are. I think you either love reptiles or you don't. And usually it is the wife curbing the husband's spending spree on reptiles... If you email me I will definitely write back, it would be nice to keep in touch. Hope to see you in Sept.

Rick, I'm not very good at posing for pictures. I actually feel very uncomfortable posing. Sorry, it's hard to smile when feeling camera shy. I don't hate people taking pictures, I'm just not a good poser.

Our baby Hondos are always biting the crap out of me....it's actually kind of funny, these tiny little things trying to attack a human....it cracks me up they are so cute. But we have a few Hondos that are nuts and there is no getting around it. That's why I prefer ball pythons, generally they have a pretty mellow disposition.

If you are going to the next White Plains show I will bring a pair of gloves so you can hold the babies.......do you prefer the kevlar lined gloves??

but I followed someone out a back exit of the lot I was in, and it took 30 seconds to get out. I only wish they showed me the escape route before I waited in line 20 min.

Renaissance had some nice animals I agree.

Don't forget the NERD table was awsome too.(would you expect less)The female albino spider was sooooo cool!! , and I really liked the coral glow and the bees. Not to mention their spiders looked like they don't miss any meals either.
