My family and I are in the process of creating a space for our first pet snake. After much research we have decided on probably getting a albino whitesided bullsnake. The space we are working with is the TV area of an entertainment stand which we are going to put plexiglass on to create our new family alternative to TV. The question is as to the types of things that can go in this space to make it both comfortable for our new family member and particularly compelling to the eye. I'd like to avoid the pine chips or newspaper thing for the floor and we'd like ultimately to turn the space into a whole ecosystem with living plants. We would really appreciate any and all input on what types of systems people have used to make comfortable and visually appealing homes for their snakes.
