....I'd make sure they are both hydrated well, and pour on the vittles.... Both look like they have very little left in the way of tail reserves. If they are WC, it would be a good idea to check for parasites too. How are their appetites?

I just got them yesterday. The lady at the pet store didn't know if they are WC's or not. They have a good appetite but seem to need to be re-hydrated. What should I do, I have a larger water bowl in there, should I mist them too?

...a drip of water on the end of an eye dropper, but as they are not settled in yet, they may not go for it. Keep their dish filled and possibly try the cup-with-pinhole-dripping from above onto a rock to stimulate them into drinking. Sometimes they are pretty bashful about letting you see them drink from a bowl, so I like to KNOW they are getting a drink every so often by doing the dropper or rock thing. They do get some moisture from the crickets if they are eating well, too. I'd save the misting until its a necessity or something, mine just hate it LOL.

just to let you know, these are not what are generally referred to as "western" collared lizards. What you have is a pair of C. bicinctores, which also go by such trade names as "desert" collared lizards, Mojave collared lizards, Great Basin collared lizards, etc. "Western collared lizards" is just one of the many (unfortunate) names used to describe a given specimen of the C. collaris species of Crotaphytus. If all of this sounds extremely confusing, you are in good company. It obviously doesn't help that so many pet stores get new collared enthusiasts started on the wrong foot by generally misinforming buyers about all aspects of the lizard they are purchasing... Okay, I think I'm done ranting...for now anyway! LOL
