it could push it into a period of dormancy, especially if you turn your thermostat down too. that's not necessarily harmful--many snakes are brumated for the winter either to replicate natural conditions or to give the owner a break. it would depend on your plans for the snake, its age, etc.
you could buy a cheap table lamp and a cheap timer and have lights during a natural daylight cycle, of course.

But short-term, the snake may think that hibernation is upon it, with less light. If I were you, I'd leave some light available.
Either way, 1 week is nothing to a snake. They can go without almost everything for a week - except oxygen & proper temperature.
