room for two?

I was just wondering if a 4 ft by 3 ft bookcase laid on the back was big enough for two russians. How hard is it to house a female and male russian together? What about breeding and egg laying, is it difficult?

Well first off i think 3x4 is kind of small. But it can be done. Eventually you will need bigger enclosure that is to small for a house forever even for one. If you went bigger like 10x5 or something that will be alright a outdoor enclosure would be best. Also for the egg laying and stuff. With a 1.1 pair you most likly wont get eggs. its like 2% chance they will breed and have eggs. if you had a 6.3 ratio maybe. more the better.

Your ratio of males to females should be 1:2 (at least) The males can stress the males so it is always better to have more than one.
