I have been raising crickets at 85 to 92 degrees and it works well. From what I have read they do well between 75 and 95 degrees. I use potting soil and keep the soil moist but not wet and I have the crickets hatching up to 3 weeks after I remove the soil from the adult crickets.
My last batch had about 250 adult crickets and I think I have close to 1500 hatched from that.

I switch my soil out every two weeks. I see some babies hatch inside the adult container but not many.
I currently have one adult container.
one half grown cricket container and two shoebox size containers for new hatchlings so they can't me far from food or water source.
