Is it not good to keep them in the same room...of course the snakes will be secure in their cages?

I don't know firsthand but I don't think the Parrots would appreciate the Boas staring at them. I wold think they have a natural instinct that says PREDATOR STARING AT ME!!! I also wouldn't because of the scent issue. It's like keeping rats and Boas in the same room....not a good idea. My Boas can smell a rat if I take it out of the freezer and let them thaw downstairs...LOL
I keep a love bird in my snake room and he doest seem to mind, he would land on them if I let them both out (not doing that) He has been in the same room with the boas for like 3-4 years now and I havent had any problems. Later

Those guys are nice!! When I was in Costa Rica I would have to say seeing Scarlet Macaws in the wild was one of my highlights. Beautiful birds.
My parrots screech at the top of their lungs if they even see me quickly walk through the room with a boa.. Very loud... I'd take it that they don't like snakes..

I keep a parrot in the living room and my boas in a spare bed room with no problems. But my parrot gets nervous when I bring a boa in the the living room to hang out on the couch. I would not keep them in the same room all the time. I believe this would stress out the bird.
I got my first free boa from a guy who had the boa and a cockato(sp?)I think he got bit a few times. It was'nt the snake he was a pleasure to own
