Hello
Around 8 weeks ago I bought a scarlet kingsnake . Its eating well about 1 to 2 pinkies a week.
The temp in my area has dropped a bit since summer is over in last week and the air temp in his tank is around 70 to 72 . I have a heat pad on one side of his tank and one hide area over it with ofcourse substrate.
I was thinking of adding a low watt bulb over the warm area just to bring the air temp upto 76 degrees or turn off the UTH pad and just warm the tank up with a daylight incandescent bulb and red night bulb for night.
He seemed to eat with more frequency when temps were in low 80s.
Any input/advice?
Thanks.
Rita
