A few 2005 Non-Hondo pics

I have Hondurans but actually prefer the Nelson’s/Sinaloan’s. Here are a couple of high band count 2005 babies from the line that produces Patternless. The second two are the same snake, 20 red bands neck to vent with zero cross overs (21 if you count a smudge as a band)! The first one is no slouch either with 19 red bands and just one crossover (20 red bands if you count the one incomplete). I have been selecting for these “high band count”, high red, no crossover Nelson’s along with trying to produce more patternless of course.

An aberrant male, not sure what this guy is trying to be, he is a clutch mate to the semi-Patternless female. She is not as clean as last years total Patternless from this pair but still quite striking. This is a real low band count, maybe a Sinaloan (lol).

An Applegate Stripe “Sinaloan” and one of the 2005 2/3 hets I produced this year. He has a cool reduced pattern and I really like all the red on the Applegate stripe (splotched) male.

Although these were originally supposed to be Sinaloan’s, the majority of hets have 16 red bands (neck to vent), the high end for a Sinaloan. I still firmly believe there is nothing other than regional difference between Sinaloans and Nelsoni.

Rick,

Those are some really nice snakes (even though they're not Hondurans).
