This is from a trip my son and I took to Southern Alberta along the Milk River in August. Our target species was the Short Horned Lizard and although they can be found there I didn't have much hope of finding any due to the fact that they are blue listed as endangered in Alberta. Unbelieveably we found two, a baby and an adult. I have looked before and been skunked but knew we would turn up a few Prairie rattlers and maybe a Bull Snake which we also did. It was a great trip! I can now cross one more species off my life list.
