burmese enclosures

joshnuber Oct 11, 2005 01:38 PM

Does anyone know where I can purchase a nice enclosure for my green burm..He is still only about 4-5 ft long right now but I want a home he can live in even as an adult. I'm looking for something in the range of 7X3X3.I was going to get a vision cage but did not see anything that big...May have to build a cage?

Check out Animal Plastics, they have big cages and good prices.

Here's a link:

You dont need the 3ft height. Burms dont really climb all that much, plus tall enclosures are difficult to heat and keep humid.
And if building one, 8ft length is easier to make cuts for.
Easy to make cuts of 8 ft x 30in x 18in high.
Which is the size of most commercial cages.

remember to measure you door openings, after you build/buy this enclosure you have to be able to get into the room you want it.
