any and all info you can give me about keeping this wonderful little lizard. Ive kept a lot of other herps but was always uncertain about keeping horned lizards because i heard they are difficult

It's at the very end of the season, and you'll probably have a harder time finding a horned lizard. Let me suggest you go to www.phynosoma.com and read everything you can. You will need a heavy financiial committment to ordering ants which are their main food source, if you have only limited experience with lizards it is imparative that you study everything you can, including the lighting expense and cage size. These lizards are not for novices, and the uninformed. So before you make the jump please research what your doing, for the sake of the animals.......Cheers! Next spring they will be available.
