THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP

Hola Sr. JJ:
Very nice...try worms, or maybe fish.

WOW....Thanks for the new pic of the Webbi.....It would be awesome if those made their way into the hobby somehow here in the states.

pretty much anything you can find in and around your house. For baby garters try earthworms and then as it gets bigger try fish...they love them.
You need to give your mom a big hug because she really out did herself buying you the garter snake pictured in your post
I'd say your mom is a keeper!
Russ
Do what the name implies. If it's found in a garden feed it what you find in a garden. Worms, snails, roly polys, cockroaches, crickets, etc.....
I found one just like that too in my garden, when I when to pick some tomatos and jalapenos. I just let them live in my garden. They keep the local prairie dog population in check.
BTW your Mom must be really nice. Have her call me at 515-555-1212.

Is this a photo of the one, and only, specimen? Have more been found? Is Sinaloan Mountain Kingsnake the "official" common name now? What does your mom look like?
Greg
...so you should send it right off to me before it starves and I'll see what I can do with it for you!
That's absolutely the coolest thing I've seen posted here since Dan's shots of the preserved juvenile from 2000 and Bob's terrific wild brown mexicana colony. Thanks for sharing!
Have any other shots of that thing?!!
Mike
Switaki,
It looks like something is wrong with your new snake; you should put it in a box and send it to me without hesitation. Any others like it should also be sent before it is too late; you may have already been infected.
Awesome pic, it's too bad the locality information on all the L. mexicania is so scattered, it would be interesting to know just how extensive their range (and variability) is.
You mentioned some DNA studies a few months ago, has their been any work done on mexicana and the relationship with L. ruthvini, L. alterna, and L. pyro?
Do you think It could be a wild hybrid.?
Paul..

Pinky's taste nice, only if there fresh..
How many other live webbi are in captivity? Are they in collections/captivity here in the USA or are these in Mexico? Are there plans for a captive breeding project? What else can you tell us about them? Do they feed on mice or are they lizard/snake feeders? Thanks in advance.
