recieved first alterna bought online

I just received my yearling female fed-ex this morning. She arrived in great shape and was an exact match of the pic supplied in the classified section of this site. My hat's off to Jim Dobis, I would recommed anyone to deal with him in the future. When I took her home at lunch I put her travel container into her permanent cage to give her the option of snug or spatious. She immediately left her travel size container and began exploring her new home. I was surprised that after sniffing around her "hidey hole" she came back out into the open and explored her cage some more. Since my adult male gets active like that when he's ready to eat I got two pinks on my way home. After introducing her to her "feeding container" she was constricing the first one within 10 seconds and is scarfing it down as I type. Boy I can hardly wait to watch her grow.

This should be a picture of her at hatching. I'm glad she ate well considering the snowstorm she went through.

I also just got my first alterna from Jim Dobis. I, fortunatly, live near Jim in Jersey so I got to pick my girl up in person and view his entire collection. This is my first alterna so I dont have much to go by other than having seen all of his snakes and I was impressed. She is a healthy, beautiful alterna phase and I will most likely conduct more buisiness with Jim in the future. It's a passion for him and I just hope he keeps the good work up, as I'm sure he will.
