Got 5 new little females at the IRBA yesterday. Very small little ladies, picked them from a tank full of fresh imports. None of these have even had their first meal yet! Hope they all make it! I got a good deal on fresh babies, $10 each and the guys (Prehistoric Times at the Pomona IRBA) were more than helpful in helping me make my choices by sex. Poor guy had about 40 people milling around him, but he said he would help me find 5 nice females in the tank, and he did! Thanks Prehistoric Times! (not to be confused with Prehistoric Pets, I do believe these were not affiliated) Anyway~ here they are, smallest to largest:

48 grams little lady~

56 gram little girl

63 grams

66 grams

And the largest at 78 grams

I gave them a nice soak yesterday to help insure they are properly hydrated, put them in some little shoe boxes and am leaving them alone to settle in some before offering first meals! (Wish me luck, I bet I need it to keep all five of these little darlin’s going!)
