ask for the parts department and tell them you need 2 little giant heating
elements WITHOUT the solid state thermostat they will run about $10 apiece
then go to walmart and get 2 replacement 15ft cords and youll be set ALSO
ask for 3 sets of mounting clips for the heat elements

I am about to do my first one. It is a little larger, so I am going to use 3 of the heat elements, and an 80mm 12v computer fan to circulate the air. The eggs should be in enclosed boxes, so they wont dry out with the fan.

I wish I knew more. I will take picture when I do mine.

I have seen this page, and it looks really good, except I am not really sure I would use heat tape.

it was given to me because it was low on freeon and the pipes needed cleaning, which I assume won't matter. How do you regulate the temperature with those heat things?

Or some similar product like a Big Apple thermostat.

extremely overpriced(100 dollars!) thermostat from the boaphile. Whether or not I can find it idk. I hate the probe sensor though, it's horrible at detecting air temps.

I have had 100% hatch rate 2 years in a row with it if your fridge/freezer is not much bigger than that id say 14 cu ft
then 2 heaters is sufficient I have the HERPSTAT and I love it it has performed with the utmost accuracy
(89.5 alllllll daaaay looooong) and i will use it for the years coming, the heating elements are inexpensive, simple and super easy to wire if you have more questions email me at nyhellraiser@earthlink.net
