Boigas, Ahaetullas and Dendralaphis'

boigamaniac Oct 11, 2005 10:52 PM

There seems to be a stunning lack of info on these rear-fanged snakes on the web. Even available literature is limited. I wonder if we could all share our info on these species minus the popular ones like the dendrophilas and cyaneas. Does anyone here keep other lesser known species like the nigriceps, draps, multoculattas, formosus, cynachloris and malayan whip snake?

Hey Boigafan!

I'm glad you posted this message because I've slowly been workig on an all-Boiga site but since the interest (worldwide) seems limited I am having doubts on finishing the project.
There is a dedicated french site I've seen, which seems to be the most complete at this time. However it suffers from great lack of information on more rare ssp. (http://boiga.infos.st/) And it's in French, which hardly is as universal of a language as English.

Anyway you sort of made me feel that it might be a good idea to finish this new site of mine and I am wondering if you, and perhaps others interested, would like to assist in making this happen?

If you are, then contact me via e-mail.

Cheers!
Patrick.
