ok im building my bp cage and i was going to use sliding plexi glass doors..i was wondering if anyone had any opinions on doors such as fold up and fold down doors...i have a fold up door on hinges for my beardie cage, but i dont like it cause i had to drill through plexi glass and it doesnt look good..i thought about glueing the plexiglass to the wooden frame if i went with a folding door but sliding seems to look good too..i will have three cages on top of each other in one enclosure, so keep in mind that i will have to have 3 doors..thanks for the advice yall, i really appreciate it...

I prefer sliding doors for just about any non-venomous snake. I like the way they look, giving that open look to the front of a cage and I like the way they function when I build them myself. The one downfall is for species that kick a lot of substrate into the track, but this should not be a huge issue with BP's.

But many people prefer flip down doors, or even doors that hinge to the side. I think most of the time because it leaves the entire cage open for cleaning. There's always a tradeoff.

I would not use sliding plexiglass or any other type of acrylic for sliding doors. Glass is cheaper and better, IMO.
