BUILDING THE "IDEAL" TERARIUM-NEED HELP!

LeoDude7 Jul 20, 2003 10:11 PM

I have one leopard gecko that has grown alot and is super healthy. I recently bought a new 20galon terrarium and want to make the perfect setup, but also want advice. First off, I want it to look like my Leos natural habitat, so were can I get desert terrarium backgrounds? Also, I plan on getting another leopard gecko, so how many hide spots should I have, and whats a good place to get leos? What type of substrate should I use? I've been using fine playground sand and it's worked great. Please post pictures of your guys's set-ups, I want ideas! Thank you very much!

Hey there...as substrate try tu use calci-sand. Also, you want to have at least two hides, one in the hot side and one in the cold side. Try to look in a petstore for the terrarium background, or also in a store on the internet.
