How Often to Feed

CJBianco Oct 12, 2005 01:16 PM

"Pythons, despite their size, are like all other snakes in that they don't need much food. Feed your python every three to six weeks." -- Barron's PYTHONS: A Complete Pet Owner's Manual

And I thought one meal per week was the standard. I am a terrible pet owner.

I'm not allowed to join in your reindeer games?

Yeah. It looks like I won't be able to get out of Ball Pythons just yet. I still have my two adult PDH Albino Piebald males. (Everyone saves their cash for normal females this time of year.) And it was suggested that it could be considered a federal crime to NOT breed them this season. That means I may be breeding for an Albino PH Piebald or a Piebald PH Albino whether I like it or not. (Whichever depends on which PH adult female I decide to dump cash into. Or I could always send them out on a breeding loan. I would still love to add a visual or two to my personal collection.) Who knows? Either way, it looks like I may be here for another season. Sorry.

There was one book that had a adult male in a 20 Gal Aquarium with horrible looking plants and that's what they were reccomending as a suitable habitat. I thought shoeboxes were for hatchlings??? LOL!
